About Me 

Alright, finally updating this for the first time in about a year.
 
Last time I was letting everyone know that I'd arrived on the west coast, ready to slay. Well, slay I did. Won a bunch of contests all season long and snagged my first national championship in the jeep terrain park challenge, as well as making semi-finals for the US open before i got broke off during practice for them and ended my season early. Now, since going out in front out about 15000 people in march, I've been at home with my parents in NY, healing up, rehabbing, playing golf..... you know, fun stuff like that. I'll be headed back out to the west coast again around early november, and i'm pumped to start another season just like the last.

Words of Wisdom 

On a slightly less positive note, I just found out that my board sponsor (volkl snowboards) has no intention of giving me a legit contract or any funding at all aside from the few decks i normally get.  UPDATE(11/2/06): Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire Outerwear called and made me and offer yesterday, and I said yes pretty much immediately. Certainly not on the pro team, but it's a better deal than Volkl was, anyway. I'm pumped to rock the new gear and can't wait to start working with the Salomon/Bonfire crew. It's shaping up to be a pretty epic year.
