One Last Weekend!

The plan is to open again on Friday April 13th for one final kick at the season. (weather and conditions permitting).

Lift tickets will be $20 each day and 5 x 7 and Night season passholders can ride on a $10 ticket - make sure you bring you're pass! If you are a member at a private club bring your badge and you too can ride for $10. All tickets are plus GST.

The Grand Central Lodge Rentals building will be open for washroom and changing facilities. The food court in the lodge will not be open due to a conference group, so if you are looking for food and/or beverages, the Village is the place.

As you all know things change quickly in the spring so make sure you check the Blue Mountain website for updated conditions...

How bout moving the park to a MUCH larger area.  For such a great resort, the park is size is pathetic.  You shold be able to hit more than three jumps in one run.  You also shouldn't have to hike up to hit that first box.  You should take Century express to the top of the hill, then ride down to the start of Calamit Jane.  Start Badlands there.  Flatten out the top slightly and you've got a bit more of a respectably sized park.  However, my number one solution for the park problem is to move it to the new hills on the south side of Blue.  The different runs there could each be for different skill levels.

so did you hire park techs that are going to actually take care of the park?

honestly this it the last year I am going to buy a blue pass if you dont step it up this year, I have been dissapointed the last 3 or 4 years in the lazyness of the park techs, and how 80% of the features are closed due to conditions, and the park techs are hanging out around their stupid little fire pit that they spend so much time making. Im getting a mt. st. louis pass next year unless someone actually does some work.

maybe dont let the manager hire all of his friends this year??

oh and make the pickle pipe a medium sized pipe, blue dosent need 2 superpipes, and BTW the pickle "superpipe" has never been nice, and should not even be called a superpipe. its too narrow to be usefull, make the walls 10-12ft.

and last year I asked the same thing, but I pretty much got a response saying its for advertising, well how about you try to focus on the rider that actually use the park everyday instead of trying to get a rider tom come and see the 2 superpies once.

this year in the park make these features!!
1) set a box up vertically on an angle like a qp at the bottom of the park.
2) make more handrails, like the one that was near the top of the park.
3) make a landing x-fer gap but not huge like the ones at whistler, thats a misuse of snow.
4) at the bottom of the pickle pipe make the mini-qp that curved. it was siqq!!
5) set up the two boxes like they were to the left of the pipe. up-down, or just up.
6) make a medium sized table with the up-down rail inbetween.
make these features and the park will kick major ass this year!!
