The Dialogue Focus Boa and the Launch Boa SJ are two great new snowboard boots from the famously good design team at Salomon. Salomon have a reputation as the most comfortable, long lasting, high performance boots in snowboarding. These boots are both freestyle minded boots with the addition of the Boa system for faster lacing.

Both boots have heat moulded liners. The liners are made with new materials and no glue, so they’re conveniently machine washable. They both have Velcro like ‘cat tongue’ heel grips inside to increase heel hold. They also feature a lock lever system for the lacing on the inner boot.

The Dialogue features;

  • A dual zone Boa lacing system for a fully customised, comfortable fit
  • A super low profiling design in the out-sole that’s inspired by skate shoes

The Launch features;

  • A single Boa system with a speed lacing style cord on the outside of the boot. It pulls on a heel harness in the boot liner to eliminate heel lift.
  • Salamon’s Flightweight outer-sole which is one of the lightest they make

Boots for Park Fiends, Medium flexing and Low Profile

We would recommend both the Dialogue and Launch to any park fiend that prefers a medium flexing boot with a low profile look and feel. Low profiling means the boots are closer to your normal shoe size. Not that moon-boot shape that wont fit in your bindings. The medium flex is park friendly. It gives you the movement you need to take on different jib and kicker angles, and the stability to stomp anything with confidence.
