Leading up to the Winter Olympics we thought we should show this epic video from the brilliant minds at Red Bull and CBC Sports. It’s a great initiative, give the people (and the riders it seems) what they want.

This park, the “Snowboarders Dream” was designed by Canadian Pro Riders and Olympic chargers Mark McMorris and Seb Toutant. Also with the help of Tyler Nicholson and Mikey Ciccarelli the theme for the build was the progression of style. With so much emphasis put on the number of spins, the amplitude and the number of flips. Here the riders ask the question… what has happened to individualism, uniqueness and ultimately, fun?

Hosted by Craig McMorris and Olympic soccer player Karina LeBlanc. They interview all the athletes to get a fascinating insight into their views on the future of the sport at the top level. Also featured is a guest appearance by snowboarding legend Devun Walsh.

Progression vs Style and the Future of Snowboarding

The dream park is built on the beautiful Grouse Mt. with the majestic views of Vancouver city below. Watch on as the boys push the envelope of progression vs style. Both through discussion and on the creative features set up just for them.
